Authors off the Shelf

Authors off the Shelf is a charity book that will be available in both print and digital formats. The book is slated to be released this week and it has a short story in it (Irish Coffee) written by yours truly ^_^. It will be printed through Amazon's Createspace, then later in hardcover through a professional printer (to be named later). Createspace is being done in order to allow people to purchase a physical copy for personal use or to give out as gifts for the upcoming holiday season. The wonderful Soxie Weston did the cover for the book and it was donated by JohannaMarie Rae.

The book is filled with Novelettes, Short Stories, Poems, Speeches, Essays and Recipes donated by many authors that are associated with Lazy Beagle Entertainment! All proceeds will be donated directly to four different charities. 25% will be given to each organization equally. No contributing author, nor the Lazy Beagle, will receive any compensation for this book.

The four charities are as follows:

1 - The Trevor Project
2 - It Gets Better Project
3 - Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS
4 - The Humane Society of the United States

As proceeds start to come in, each of these charities will receive 25% of the profits each time. They are all worthy causes and could all use all the help we are able to give them.

I am putting together a short story with two new characters  by the names of Emmanuel Durant and and Neil Jardin. Neil is a pilot with no sense of direction when it comes to relationships and Emmanuel is a former Archaeologist recovering from an accident that turned his life on its ear. Meeting under unusual circumstances can these two manage to put aside their past experiences and insecurities long enough to take a shot at Love?
